Jun: They told me that it was natural... they said that since bad behavior has always occurred in all cultures, then bad behavior is natural, Nature's way, and therefore acceptable. I had replied, that wars have always occurred in all cultures also, and I then asked, is, therefore, war an acceptable and creative way of life? The people stammered... the outsiders then began inventing philosophical excuses of why all things that happen are natural, and therefore all things must also be Nature's way. I then posed other questions to serve as contrasts... I asked that if it is natural for all animals and other living beings to not wear clothes, nor bathe, nor care what a bathroom is, then must it be acceptable for people to also do as animals do? Again the outsiders stammered before they invented ad hoc excuses... and then I asked about stealing... I asked if it was okay then for other people to steal, to lie, to cheat, and to harm one's self... the outsiders stammered longer... their excuses grew weaker, but still the outsiders insisted that their bad behavior was natural, and thus good... by that time, the outsiders had begun to invent conflicting excuses... apparently, they believed that it was okay for everyone to behave any way they wish, but only if everyone else's behavior bows to one's own desires... and, of course, the outsiders also claimed that it was natural for people to be selfish, and since selfishness is natural, Nature's way, then selfishness is a good thing.

Alo: It sounds as if the outsiders may have held an incorrect interpretation of what we refer to as Nature's way...

Jun: Yes, I believe so also... to the outsiders, it appeared that they interpret everything in the universe to be mechanical... no options... no choice... all fate... and to the outsiders, they sincerely have formed a belief that they can behave anyway they wish, and that everyone else should accept the behavior, regardless of how destructive their behavior might be...

Alo: Yes, that does appear to be the norm for outsiders... they think as robots, they behave as robots... they believe they are robots...

Jun: I have often wondered... what if they might actually be robots? Organic robots? Seriously... their minds are programmed... their behaviors are programmed... they cannot think for themselves... their thoughts are as if tape recorders that recite their programmed words... the outsiders truly do not possess a will, nor an ability, to make a choice... the outsiders, they merely move according to what their bodies' programming tells the people to do...

Alo: Yes... that is also what the government schools' books claimed, that all thoughts and all behaviors are mechanically forced by the body's design... but... that is their way, not ours...

Jun: True... but I did try to explain Nature's way of creativity... I really did try... but the people, none of them could grasp what creativity means... the people, they insisted that creativity means to reproduce old products with different colors and different shapes to be sold for a profit... new cars, new clothes, new televisions... the outsiders, none of them, not one, could grasp the idea of creating a new thing that does not already exist.

Alo: And their behaviors, you said that the behaviors were, how should we say it... not good?

Jun: Yes... very not good... if all of the outsiders were to behave as they claim is natural, then very soon they will self-destruct... no living creature can survive with that form of self-destructive behavior.

Alo: De and I, we had spoken of similar things... writings by ancient elders who were displeased with their eras... the elders said that the world would end when a generation was born of people who were trucebreakers, false accusers, weak of will, fierce, despisers of those who are good, without natural affection for other people, traitors, heady, self-puffed-up, lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, unthankful, calling bad things good, calling good things bad, and lovers of pleasures more than lovers of properness... I assume that the list sounds familiar...

Jun: Yes, I found nothing in the list that the outsiders do not do... and too, it is true, the outsiders claim that the list is of good things, of positive things, and that no one should ever hold an opinion that disagrees.

Alo: The thing that interests me, is the question of why the list was written... obviously the behaviors existed when the list was written, because, the list used the words that described the behaviors... but, apparently, the ancient era had relatively little of the behaviors... but today...

Jun: Yes, today, it is no longer relatively little... today, it is relatively universal amongst outsiders... they care for nothing but themselves... going about, seeking self-pleasure, howsoever sick it might be... and the outsiders scream angry words if anyone dares to say that the behaviors are not good... over and over the outsiders say that all behaviors are natural and therefore good... the outsiders now even teach little toddlers how to behave and to act against the healthy ways of men and women... the outsiders are sick... their disease, it is killing the whole of their kind. Oh, and I heard a new thing also... the outsiders are now claiming that human eyes somehow physically change their shapes to cause the mind to interpret a thing as beautiful... hahaha!... the outsiders' absurdities are as a symptom of the outsiders' disease... the people are growing increasingly unable to reason... and again, to the outsiders, everything is mechanical... physical... two-dimensional... like the Flat Land book people...

Alo: Then, what next? Have you yet made plans?

Jun: I wish to now visit some communities to the west... I have been told that there are good people there... my hope, is that there might actually be good people there... I wish to meet them, to learn that good people do exist outside of our neighborhood.

Alo: And what if there are none?

Jun: Then, I do not know... maybe, just return here, be an old maid... give-up, no longer try...

De: Look for the man... who walks alone...

Alo: Yes... within a crowd, those who assemble closely, most all are followers... they do as the herd does... the individual standing at a distance, they are not, comfortable, being within a herd...

Jun: Yes, I have seen that... it is like Yan... he keeps to himself... he walks the hills alone... he is a very good man, of good heart... too bad, he is twice my age, else...

Alo: Ha! Well, maybe, not a full twice...

De: One soul anxious... one soul delay...

Jun: Well... ... ha! Now that the idea has been presented, now I will not be able to forget what was said...

Alo: Each day, weight of age decreases... twice becomes less... today, double age... in ten years, two thirds... in twenty years, one half...

Jun: Ha! True! If I wait long enough, he would be younger than me!

Alo: Ha! Seems like it!

De: Yan, searched also... not find...

Jun: Then, there might be many of us who looked, but did not find...

Alo: Likely so... cycles of sun and moon... cycles of seasons... cycles of body's maturing... cycles of mind maturing... some cycles cannot be changed, but some cycles progress sooner or after an average progress... some people are ready to be found early... some people, are not ready until later... winter cold never comes at the equator... summer heat never comes at the poles... the cycles are there... natural... but, one's own place, and one's own choices, decide the season of life.

Jun: A lot to think about...
