Yan: It is interesting to me, to ponder the things that we speak about... like, the word 'hollow'... that one word, relates to many of our topics... including, mutuals, and consciousness... cannot know 'hollow', without first having memories of past and present... cannot know 'full' without first knowing pasts of capacities... the knowing of 'capacity' then itself becomes a previous knowledge, gained firsthand, and not taught in government schools... then, all things, relate to self... all things, relate to one's own self-life... one's own, self-experience...

Alo: Yes... similar, is the main ancient author's words... 'not misfortune, person him not self aware... misfortune, him not able'... to not be able to be aware of self, is, a great misfortune... cannot then, know, anything... be hollow...

Yan: Agreed... but also here, the idea, of a gorge being aware of itself... just, my curiosity... analogies... but, if the spirit of the gorge, were, to have some form of conscious self-awareness, then, I muse of how deep the awareness might extend...

Alo: If, conscious, and, have memories, then gorge might then be able to reason... but, if no consciousness... and, if, 'hollow', cannot be remembered, then, perhaps, song of gorge, sings, its own song, but, not know it sings... songs only heard by conscious beings who can hear the song...

Yan: Agreed... but then, would that not also lead to the idea of Nature not being aware of itself? Something there... something more must be present...

Alo: Yes, Nature is not flat... song of Nature, not finished... song of Nature exists beyond today... curves do not end...

Yan: Different kind of memory, perhaps... but, then also, maybe not. Curves and ratios are within all things... leaving, me, with the idea, that, perhaps the only difference, might be, consciousness... then, if we pretended that that were true, then, perhaps the core difference between us and Nature's inanimate things, is that we have, or possess, an additional ingredient... consciousness... or! Same curves and ratios for all... same way for all... difference, is, something about mobility and separateness from other things... durational curves are different... time dilation curves are different... ability for choice perhaps...

Alo: Yes, approaching closer... but, outsiders are not aware of what they do, and, with no awareness of the world around them, they do not possess memories to be used for contrasts... outsiders sometimes do a useful thing, and not know it. Similarities exist within all known 'superior' outsiders, but the 'superior' qualities occurred by mistake... outsiders do not remember why... if, outsiders did remember, then outsiders could then do similar for themselves, and also recognize why animals migrate... and also, question, from where our people came from. But, of the curves of differences that you spoke of, perhaps, there is also, an, ability, to exert self-effort... foundational emotions, fate life, much...

Yan: There... my own foundational emotion, is of yearning... yearning for something good... the emotion has driven me, my whole life... caused me, to not stop seeking good...

Alo: Mine, is of love, plus, the physical self's emotion of effort... consciousness, plus spirit tone of love, plus body spirit of effort... three walk together... consciousness, observes... experiences life...

Yan: And there, different foundational emotions... cannot have identical future emotions... begin baking bread with a pan coated with different oils, cannot then have same bread tastes...

Alo: The old man, his foundational emotion tone might have been fear... it influenced his life... maybe, not his fault, but, what if? Spirit of lake, spirit of self-tone... the question, is to ask, from where did the foundational emotion originate? Not from consciousness, not, from the 'I', but, exists separate from the body-self tone... existed, before the body tone... perhaps, accompanied the 'I'... or, perhaps... perhaps... there, the curve again... three things, needed, to create one new thing... consciousness and body are two things... the third?

Yan: ...I recognize that you always stop speaking before saying the final words that explain the previous words... something, a lesson, that I have to learn on my own... but, my mind is blank... hollow... ha!

Alo: Ha! Without a knowing of a thing that is questioned, yes, feels, like, hollow... maybe, gorge, without memories, nor without thinking, might still sense 'hollow' in the gorge's own way... maybe Nature senses the gorge as 'hollow'... but, here, back to the old man's words... if earth began calm, and then later virtue arose, then need something more to permit virtue to arise from calm... cannot be done with binary... cannot be done flat...

Yan: I suspect something there... but, I am hesitant to speak the words... maybe, I am beginning to be similar to you... to not say words that too openly describe a thing...

Alo: The main ancient man wrote... 'not oppose dishonest, not calculate non-truth, repress also in-advance aware person... be virtuous?'... there... a person actually has to think... has to, actually, think their own thoughts, analyze for themselves, not merely accept inanimate knowledge as the filling of hollowness... if gorge not conscious, then, how become virtue? If, earth be calm, and not have consciousness, then, how become virtue?

Yan: Then... either, earth be conscious, else... that something else that we are not saying...

Alo: Hidden open... there, everywhere... easy to see... easy, to experience... easy, to calculate... or, at least, easy for our people... but, must first be conscious... then, calculate... think... not be hollow like gorge... not be, flat...
