Yan: Alo, you had previously said, that you grow bored of doing the same thing too much, except, of course, for not growing bored of De and chidao. Jun and I, we have discussed similar things... some people grow bored of their ideologies, and the people then leave to go in search for a new ideology... even the global religion, many people discover the faults, become bored with the beliefs, and then go in search for another thing to find of interest.

Jun: Yan and I, we are unsure of why we have not become bored with each other, nor bored of chidao... we suspect that is has something to do with what one is, and not what one does, but we are undecided...

Yan: Yes, and too, it is common to hear of people who believe that they are in love, but later fall out of love... marriages, some short, some long, that later end... the people no longer care for the other... perhaps the people got bored, or something else?

Alo: Love is a good subject to begin with. Outsiders, to them, love is merely physical attraction, and, sometimes, merely the habit of having another person in one's life... the love that the outsiders speak of, is merely a form of selfishness... hunger. It is easy and expected that that kind of love must fade, because physical appearances always change... and also... sometimes having a thing in one's environment loses importance... change furniture, change wall color, change clothes... change spouse.

Jun: Yan, and I, our love is of inner qualities... physical attraction yes, but physical is not an ingredient of our love... and... when Yan gets old, I will change his clothes, and paint him a different color.

Yan: Ha!

De: Ha!

Alo: Ha! Oh! Well then! That potential problem is already solved then!

Yan: Marriage to Jun is always happy... I might even not mind letting her paint me, if it makes her happy.

Jun: Remember husband... when I also get old, I look best in pinks... and, of course also, in total darkness... what cannot be seen, cannot be ugly!

Alo: Ha! And there you go! Happiness, laughter... those are things that are always good, if, of course, from the heart, and of caring for other people. A home, that is a treasure storehouse of wife's laughter... it never grows boring.

De: Our home... overflowing of treasure... Alo's impromptu goofiness, worsens daily...

Alo: Ah, my smile... but I never hear you complain! All I hear is your laughter!

De: Video... someday, buy a camera, take a video, give it to everyone...

Alo: Ha! Ah, but that would be embarrassing... so... but... but I know that you would not do that, so I will not stop making you laugh!

Yan: You two make it appear so easy... love, happiness, laughter... all while also being sincere and mindful of the other...

De: 'Poem say... Quality man way light, and not be-bored. Simple and gentle, mild and rational. Know far, him close, know wind, him self know minute, it obvious. Able together-with enter mindfulness'... 'Poem say... Quality man's way is light, and he does not become bored. Simple and gentle, mild and rational, know far by him being close, as people know wind, himself know minute, it is as obvious. Quality man is able, together with all his behaviors, to enter mindfulness'. Love is similar... absence of boredom, similar... mindfulness, always...

Alo: Yes... mindfulness... as Jun has also said, harmony is not a thing that is done, harmony is what one is. Also, mindfulness does not stop when laughter arises... mindfulness does not stop when reasoning arises... mindfulness is what one is... a love formed within mindfulness, the love is of harmonious qualities... if the qualities are correct relative to Nature's way, then the qualities do not change... the harmony is permanent... the love does not fade... beauty does not fade... there is nothing to fade, there is nothing to become bored with... we do not grow bored of breathing air... we do not grow bored of being mindful... we do not become bored of being chidao...

Yan: Thank you, that does answer our question... and now that we have heard the words, the words are what ought to have been obvious to us all along. Jun and I, we share similar standards for ourselves... we judge our own standards by Nature's standard... where we find fault within ourselves, we attempt to correct the faults, to become of harmony with Nature's way... be creative... and there, right there, that is now so obvious... growing bored, that implies wanting something different... a hunger for a new material thing... but if the hunger is absent, then there can be no boredom... boredom cannot rise...

De: Alo, never bored...

Alo: Without De, I could have no harmony... a mindfulness, without harmony, cannot be creative... cannot be harmony... can become boring. A mindfulness, without harmony, if not bored, then not mindfulness.

Yan: Just, as if, a self-inflicted trance...

Alo: Yes... hum at a wall... sit with legs crossed... idle rocks also not bored.

Yan: Interesting... then, harmony is as one is, and, creativity is as harmony does... contrast... some people do many things, but the people are as nothing inside... if there are not enough different things to do, then the people become bored...

Alo: Yes...
